Plasma rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation is the most popular field of modern aesthetic cosmetology. In addition, progressive non-invasive (without compromising the integrity of the skin) and even non-contact methods of exposure are increasingly preferred. One of the innovative and effective methods is plasma rejuvenation (non-surgical plastic).

plasma skin rejuvenation procedure

Although not all types of skin rejuvenation, most are based on the principle of managed skin damage, stimulate the recovery process and, as a result, reduce the visible signs of aging. The plasma method works the same way, but with a few tricks.

First, the active substance, plasma, is a high-energy ionized gas. Second, the nitrogen used is chemically inert and prevents the burning of tissues by displacing the oxygen needed for the oxidation process. As a result, the layers of skin are damaged by plasma (due to heat, disintegration and evaporation), but do not burn as under the influence of ablative lasers, so no open wounds are formed. This approach reduces the risk of side effects such as scars, infections and discoloration.

What to expect from plasma rejuvenation

Reducing existing age-related changes, preventing their development and early appearance. The procedure has a clear lifting effect (due to the "evaporation" of the skin cover), smooths the skin relief by reducing the depth of dynamic and static wrinkles, softens the course of natural wrinkles, improves and evens out skin tone. Moreover, the result is not only visible immediately after the start of treatment, but also gradually increases over several months. The greatest effect can be expected after about 3 months.

  3. ENT diseases in the acute stage (sinusitis and other forms of sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinosinusitis).
  4. Pregnancy. At the same time, the procedure has a fairly high safety profile, as it does not cause systemic (general) changes and overt metabolic changes. There are reports in medical publications of the successful use of plasma rejuvenation in women carrying a child. However, it should be borne in mind that physiological hormonal changes during pregnancy affect the condition of the skin and can change the effectiveness of the procedure.
  5. Breastfeeding cycle.
  6. Blood diseases, but also the presence of mild iron deficiency anemia in satisfactory health, is usually not a reason to abandon the anti-aging procedure.
  7. Acute period of infectious diseases, the presence of increased body temperature.
  8. Diseases of the thyroid gland are accompanied by local or diffuse hypertrophy of its tissues and / or hormonal changes.
  9. Kidney and liver failure.
  10. Cardiovascular diseases in the stage of decompensation.

How the procedure is performed

Plasma face rejuvenation does not require special training, pre-adherence to any diet or change in normal lifestyle. However, a few days before the session, it is recommended not to use aggressive scrubs and peels, to visit the solarium, and people prone to allergic reactions should not try new products and cosmetics.

Even patients with low pain levels do not need local anesthesia when using the device. The treatment / rejuvenation session lasts 15-30 minutes, the duration of which depends on the severity of the problem and the area of the treated area.

The patient sits in a cosmetology chair or sofa, and the specialist performing the procedure directs a pulsating stream or plasma stream from the tip of the device to his skin without contact. At the same time, it is possible to choose the most appropriate operating mode for a particular patient. The session usually begins with an initial treatment to prepare the skin for the next stronger effects and reduce the intensity of the sensations. It is not necessary to apply the treated area after the procedure. It is recommended to refrain from scrubs, peels, trips to the beach and solarium for the next 3 days.

The number of recommended procedures is 1-2 per year.
